The Asiatic lion also known as the Indian lion,is a lion subspecies that exists as a single isolated population in India's Gujarat State. It is listed as Endangered by IUCN. The lion population has increased in Gir Forest National Park, more than doubling from a low of one hundred eighty(180) individuals in 1974 to a level of four hundred eleven(411) individuals consisting of ninety seven(97) adult males, one hundred sixty seven(167) adult females, seventy five( 75) sub-adults, and seventy seven(77) cubs as of April 2010.
The Asiatic lion was first described by the Austrian zoologist Johann N. Meyer under the trinomen Felis leo persicus. It is one of the five big cats found in India, apart from Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, snow leopard and clouded leopard. It formerly occurred in Persia, Mesopotamia, Baluchistan, from Sind in the west to Bengal in the east, and from Rampur and Rohilkund in the north to Nerbudda in the south. The indian lion differs from the African lion .

The rhinoceros lives in northern India and Asian nation. They have some12 noticeable physical variations from their African relatives. Their segmental hide looks like a formidable coat of natural suit of armor. Like other rhinos, these animals have sharp hearing and a keen sense of smell. They will noticed each other by following the path of scent every enormous animal leaves behind it on the landscape. An Indian rhino can move very quickly once aroused. Their charges have been clocked at 30 miles (48 kilometers) an hour. Despite their bulk, they are nimble and can jump or change direction quickly. They have flexible skin between the thicker hide "plates" allows them to shift as the rhinoceros moves. As their Latin name Rhinoceros suggests, Indian rhinos have just one horn. The Indian rhinoceros may be a grazer that travels established, tunnel-like methods through its tall-grass surround. It grasps tall grasses with its prehensile (gripping) lip. In addition to grass, rhinos eat fruit, leaves, and typically farm crops. They ‘re typically around water and sometimes consume aquatic plants. These animals forage within the cooler temps of morning and afternoon to avoid exerting themselves in the debilitating midday heat. When the sun is high, they often wallow or submerge themselves in water.
The distinguished horn that these rhinos are so well known has also been their downfall. Many animals have been killed for this hard, hair-like growth, that is revered for medicinal use in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The horn is also valued in North Africa and the Middle East as a decorative dagger handle. Only 2,000 Indian rhinos are left in the wild.

Africa is the richest continent offreshwater fish, with about 3000species. The East African Lakes Victoria, Malawi, and Tanganyika are the center of biodiversity of many fish, especially cichlids (they harbor more than two-thirds of the estimated 2000 species in the family). The West African coastal rivers region covers only a fraction of West Africa, but harbours 322 of West African’s fish species, with 247 restricted to this area and 129 restricted even to smaller ranges. The central rivers fauna contains 194 fish species, with 119 endemics and only 33 restricted to small areas. The marine diversity is greatest near the Indian Ocean shore with about 2000 species.
Different kind of African fauna
Perciformes (Lates, tilapias, Dichistiidae, Anabantidae, Mudskippers, Parachanna, Acentrogobius, Croilia, Glossogobius, Hemichromis, Nanochromis, Oligolepis, Oreochromis, Redigobius, Sarotherodon, Stenogobius, etc) Gonorhynchiformes (Kneriidae, Phractolaemidae), some lungfishes (Protopterus), many Characiformes (Distichodontidae, Hepsetidae, Citharinidae, Alestiidae), Osteoglossiformes (Africanknifefish, Gymnarchidae, Mormyridae, Pantodontidae (Galaxiidae), Cyprinodontiformes (Aplocheilidae, Poeciliidae) and Cypriniformes (Labeobarbus, Pseudobarbus, Tanakia and etc).

Lion
The lion is one of the four big cats in the Genus Panthera. They also known as Panthera leo. and a member of the family Felidae. With some males exceeding 250 kg (550 lb) in weight. Lion is the second-largest living cat after the tiger. In the other hand many types of lions have disappeared from North Africa and Southwest Asia in historic times. They were found in most of Africa, across Eurasia from western Asian country. The lion is a vulnerable species, having seen a major population decline in its African range of 30–50% per two decades during the second half of the 20th century. Lion populations are untenable outside designated reserves and national parks. Although the cause of the decline is not fully understood, habitat loss and conflicts with humans are currently the greatest causes of concern. Within Africa, the West African lion population is particularly endangered.Lions live for 10–14 years within the wild, whereas in captivity they will live longer than twenty years
